Is it really greener?

I find myself intrigued by other peoples blogs.  Specifically mommy blogs.  Sure, maybe it is a way for me to procrastinate, but I love seeing what other people are doing with their own crazy brood of children.  It is reassuring to find that other people feel like they are losing it!

I have finally reached the conclusion that I am not so sure that the grass is greener on the other side, but just a bit different.  We all landscape differently.  I work in a church.  I work in a church with kids.  So many times I feel the glares.  The looks that say I cannot believe your children behave that way.  I have convinced myself that the majority of these glares come from those who are not around children themselves and have perhaps what it is like to raise them, but at the same time I often want to just SCREAM!

I love my boys, their obsessions, their energy, and know I will miss these days.  Maybe that is what I am hoping for with a blog.  It is one more way that I can look back and see where we have been and dream about what is to come.

Right now, the grass is pretty green here.  We are so ready for spring.  We are growing grass on the table as a centerpiece, raising some butterflies, that hopefully can be released before they die, and enjoying four seasons country.  We hit a record high of 81 today, there should be snow in the morning.  Sigh..... it is an exhausting, but blessed life.
